Guwahati News Desk: Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday evening.
According to the sources, Minister Hazarika was currently under home isolation and will be shifted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
In Assam, a total of 9 Omicron variants of COVID-19 cases were reported as 3 patients have been recovered.
Minister Pijush Hazarika tweeted “Yesterday I tested COVID positive. I have mild symptoms and I am in Home Isolation, following all COVID protocols and guidelines. Those who came in contact with me are requested to take necessary action accordingly.”
