Guwahati News Desk: Congress MLA Sherman Ali Ahmed who requested the Government of Assam to set up a ‘Miya Museum’ at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalashetra in Panjabari was denied.
Assam Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma denied the request of the Congress MLA on Saturday for setting up a Miya Museum.
The museum is proposed for the people living in the char-chapori areas in the state which is called as Miya community.
