Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the government of Assam to provide 3 lakh vaccines per day from June 21.
People above 18 years of age will also be included in the doses of the vaccine.
CM Sarma says, “The doses will be given in two shifts as the vaccines will be provided from 8 am to 9 pm”.
“On Friday 1 lakh 16 thousand people have been inoculated as on June 21 people won’t need to buy vaccine doses as the centre has taken the initiative to provide the vaccine doses from Monday onwards”, CM Sarma added.
Health Workers to received a sum of Rs 100 per day for their duty, says CM Sarma.
According to the sources, all the offices will reopen from July 1 as he urged the employee to get vaccinated before July 1.
