Guwahati News Desk: A distance of 50 kms starting from Narengi to Chandrapur to be named after the renowned Assamese writer and Journalist Dr Homen Borgohain who passed away recently.
The announcement was made by the Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday.
The road named after Dr Borgohain to start from Narengi of Guwahati via Chandrapur to Jagi in Morigaon district.
The government of Assam to work on various projects to preserve the legacy and rich work that has been produced during the last few decades, says CM Sarma.
Dr Homen Borgohain passed away of May 12 at GNRC Hospital in Guwahati.
