Guwahati News Desk: The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) jawans organised a bicycle rally ahead of 75th Independence Day in Guwahati City on Saturday.
The bicycle rally took out by 1st BN NDRF from Patgaon of Rani to Lachit Ghat in Fancy Bazaar and the main moto of this rally is to raise awareness of Independence Day through bicycle rally.
The bicycle rally is a part of ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ an initiative of the government to commemorate the 75 years of Independence Day.
The Amrit Mahotsav was kick-started on March 12, 75 weeks before the 75th anniversary of Independence Day of India which will continue till August 15 of 2023.
