Guwahati News Desk: Capital City reported zero death case after a long four months due to COVID-19. During the peak of the second wave of COVID-19 as per reports 448 people died in a single day.
On Monday, 71,546 COVID-19 tests were done where 51 people have tested positive having a positivity rate of 0.07 per cent in New Delhi.
According to the sources, in the last three days six deaths were reported as one each on Thursday and Friday and four on Saturday and no death reported on Sunday. And for almost in the last three weeks the national capital has reported less than 100 new cases per day.
According to the reports, those people who have died at home due to COVID-19 and when they unable to get beds in hospital during the peak of the second wave of COVID-19 in April and May are not available in the data. Long before four month on March 2 New Delhi reported no COVID death and this time on Sunday.
According to the reports released by the Delhi government, only 592 active cases were reported in the capital and out of these 330 people were currently undergoing treatment in hospital.
Earlier, in the month of April, the capital city reported more than 28 thousand COVID-19 positive cases in a single day which leads to the unavailablity of beds and oxygen which had created a panic situation across the capital during the peak of the second wave of the pandemic.
