Guwahati News Desk: Director Chloe Zhao made history in the 93rd Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (AMPAS) awards underway in Los Angeles in the United States as she becomes the first woman to win Best Director for Nomadland in Oscar.
The movie has earned six nominations for winning Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress for Frances Mc Dormand.
Director Chloe Zhao says, “This is for everyone who has the faith and the courage to hold on the goodness on themselves and also goodness in each other”.
