Guwahati News Desk: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone of new proposed Parliament building in the capital city on December 10.
The total cost of the new Parliament building is worth Rs 971 crore. The new building will be 17 thousand square meters bigger than the old Parliament building.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that India will celebrate its 75th Independence Day in 2022 as the new sittings of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha will be held in the new Parliament building.
