Guwahati News Desk: The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) has inaugurated their first Young Communicators Club of Northeast at Asian Institute of Management and Technology on Monday.
YCC is a student wing of PRCI which has over 50 chapters across the nation as YCC chapters can be formed by any University, colleges and institutes having Mass Communication and Journalism department.
Emmanuel Hmar Head of the department Mass Communication of AIMT on the occasion said, “We are happy to have the first YCC chapter in Northeast India, this will help bridging the gap between professionals and students and our students will get lot of national exposure from this, I must thank the Director of PRCI YCC of Northeast Subhankar Banerjee for his tirelessly efforts and helping us with a YCC chapter in AIMT.”
PRCI-YCC Director of Northeast Subhankar Banerjee on the occasion said, “YCC chapter in AIMT will help the students bridge the gap between professionals and students, with support from PRCI students can learn the trick of the trade in the field of Mass Communication especially in Public Relations. I am quite sure AIMT Guwahati will set the standards high and be one of the best chapters in the country.”
