Guwahati News Desk: With Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s execution of five new ministers to her cabinet, Priyanca Radhakrishnan becomes the first-ever Indian-origin minister in New Zealand.
Radhakrishnan, 41 was appointed the Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Minister for Ethnic Communities. Later appointed as the Minister for Diversity, Inclusion and Ethnic Communities.
In addition to this she is now the Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector and Associate Minister for Social Development and Employment.
The new executives to sworn in on Friday, followed by a cabinet meet.
