Guwahati News Desk: PK Dutta, former DIG and main accused of SI scam, has been arrested from Kakarbhitta near Indo-Nepal border on Tuesday by Assam Police.
He was missing and hiding in the border area to keep himself safe from the scandal.
The SI exam held on September 20 was cancelled by the government due to leakage of question papers. The Assam government directed the state police to investigate the case.
Dutta will be brought to Assam later on the night.
