Guwahati News Desk: The ongoing drive by the GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) has revealed that scores of business owners have been conducting their business without a valid trade license.
During the ongoing drive by GMC, several unisex spas and saloons and other business establishments in the city were found to be operating without valid trade licenses. Taking serious note of this, the civic body has issued show cause notices and imposed penalties on several business owners. The GMC also directed them to apply for the trade license at the earliest to avoid legal action. The civic body further warned that it will not tolerate such illegalities and will not hesitate to take strict action.
