Lachit Ghat of Fancy Bazar was seen flouting with devotees but without following any social distance.
Government of Assam this year have issued guidelines to maintain minimum physical distance but the scenario of ghat was totally opposite.
People across the city came to Lachit Ghat to bid adieu to Maa Durga on Visarjan. Meanwhile in conversation with a few citizen they said that the whole situation was surprising and sad to look at as the unwanted rush has created discomfort among people as none was following the safety norms set by the government.
