Guwahati News Desk: The Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced on Tuesday that physical classes of all undergraduate and post graduate classes will resume from October 1 in educational institutions.
Physical classes for class 9 will also resume from October 1.
On the other hand, physical classes from class 1 to 8 will resume from October 19 after Durga Puja festival for three days in a week.
The physical classes of class 10 has already started from Septeber 20.
The government of Assam has decided to resume the classes looking after the current situation of pandemic in the State.
In Assam, active cases is over three thousand.
