Guwahati News Desk: The Taliban territory expansion in Afghanistan is creating havoc and terror throughout the country as they are continuously capturing several districts to showcase their angst against the government.

Afghan president, Ashraf Ghani in a cabinet meet held at the presidential palace on Tuesday, declared that the Taliban cannot make the Afghan government surrender even in the next one hundred years and also added that the Taliban and their supporters are solely responsible for all the ongoing bloodshed and destruction in the country.

The National Security Advisor, Hamdullah Muhib, stated that the people of the country are ready to defend themselves and their territories against the Taliban and their atrocities and he also informed that seven black hawk choppers are soon going to be handed over to the Afghan National Defense and Security forces for providing protection.

Meanwhile, the Taliban claims that they have captured six more districts.

On Wednesday, the Taliban tried to attack the capital of Afghanistan’s northern Takhar province, Taluqan city, which resulted in a huge fight between the terrorists and the soldiers and the fight lasted for a couple of hours. In the fight, 15 terrorists were killed, one soldier lost his life and two have been injured.

The Taliban have been making several attempts to capture the Taluqan city, but have not been successful in doing so.
