Guwahati News Desk: Tension situation have been created in Assam-Mizoram border following a violent clash between two groups from both the state.
A report says that the groups belonged to Kolasib district of Mizoram and Cachar of Assam. Volunteers of Mizoram installed checkposts inside the Assamâs border due to rise in COVID-19 cases, and the forest officials of Assam are not allowed to go beyond the installed checkpost.
According to Mizoram police officials, people from Assam pelted stones at Mizo group near the borders on Saturday evening. Around 20 huts were torched by miscreants.
