Guwahati News Desk: Swagata Bharali from Jorhat clinched the title of best actor female for Gobardhan Sorit at Prag Cine Awards 2021 held at the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya on Saturday.
During her masters days in Mass Communication and Journalism department at Tezpur University, she was always active in cultural activities.
Sharing about her experience on winning the award, Swagata spoke to Hello Guwahati and said it was something very new and a big achievement for her to receive such a prestigious award.
Swagata is all set to debut in a soon-to-be-released Assamese feature film, Riyaz.
Apart from Riyaz, Kolahol is another feature film she has been engaged with.
Since 2008, she was engaged with acting and drama including other such cultural activities. She has also featured in multiple short films in this short span of her career.
