Guwahati News Desk: Former Congress leader and Union Minister Matang Singh died on Thursday morning due to covid related complications.
The 58-year-old leader was suffering from liver diseases too and tested positive for covid on April 22.
He breathed his last in a Delhi hospital.
Earlier, he served as Union Minister after elected for Rajya Sabha from Assam in the year 1992.
He was popularly known as the TV tycoon of Assam.
