Guwahati News Desk: After two days of the clash at the Capitol Hill in Washington DC by Trump supporters, the microblogging site Twitter Inc permanently suspended US President Donald Trump’s account over ‘risk of further incitement of violence’ on Friday.
Twitter informing about the decision tweeted, “After a close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence”.
Following the siege of Capitol Hill by pro-Trump protesters Twitter on Wednesday, temporarily blocked Trump’s account having more than 88 million followers.
However, on Friday Twitter also permanently banned two Trump loyalists – former national security adviser Michael Flynn and attorney Sidney Powell for promoting the QAnon conspiracy theory.
