Guwahati News Desk: Two dumpers laden with illegal sand seized on National Highway 31 near Barkura at Nalbari district on Wednesday.
The dumpers were seized by Forest personnel during a patrolling duty.
The dumpers bearing registration numbers AS-14C-8474 and AS-01FC-372 were caught at around 1:30 pm while transporting sand illegally.
During patrolling truck drivers were asked to produce documents permitting carrying materials but was not able to do so.
Both the vehicles were seized and currently under the custody of the Nalbari forest range.
