Guwahati News Desk: An unidentified body was recovered from Basistha area in Guwahati on Monday afternoon.
The incident creates panic among the residents of the Basistha area. According to the sources, the body was recovered from a drain near the District Transport Office (DTO) in Basistha. Soon after the body was recovered police officials immediately rushed on the spot. As per police officials the body found recovered might have been murdered.
Later the body was sent to Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) for postmortem as the police started the investigation to get the depth of the incident.
