Guwahati News Desk: The water supply was affected in Guwahati City under Sarania Reservoir due to major leakage of the main pumping in Panbazar near Fire Service Office announced by Guwahati Municipal Corporation on Monday.
The water supply in some places is affected while on Sunday and today as the repairing works are going on to repair the water supply which is expected to be completed by Tuesday.
The GMC has requested consumers to bear with the department for the unavoidable inconvenience.
The areas will be affected Guwahati City are Lachit Nagar, GS Road, Ulubari, Pub-Sarania, Gandhibasti, Gandhi Mandap, Islampur, B. Baruah Road, Manipuribasti, Rehabari, B.K Kakati Road and Paltanbazar.
