Guwahati News Desk: A total of 3,137 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported and 15 people died in the last 24 hours.
Today, 73,181 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the State. Kamrup Metro alone reported 1,153 new positive cases which lead to the shutdown of all educational institutions including coaching classes and hostels for the next 15 days.
Whereas Dibrugarh reported 268 new cases, Darrang with 127 cases, and Kamrup Rural with 225 cases, and the positivity rate of the State increases to 5.48 percent.
