Guwahati News Desk: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has banned all the victory processions during and after counting on May 2 of Assam Assembly Elections due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the State.
Assam reported 3,137 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, and 15 people succumbed to death. Looking into the current situation of the State, the ECI has taken the decision on Tuesday.
