Guwahati News Desk: The construction of much-needed flyover construction at Sarabbhati in Guwahati has started.
Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal and State PWD Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the construction work of the much-needed flyover earlier in February.
The flyover to reduce the daily rush and traffic in the four-way intersection. Itâs a two-lane flyover, 790 metres long.
The government of Assam has allotted an amount worth Rs 149.07 crore for the construction of the flyover.
Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya, MP Queen Ojha, and MLA Ramendra Narayan Kalita were also present during the construction launch programme.
