Guwahati News Desk: At least eighteen of the 23 workers were killed in the Diaoshuidong coal mine in China on Saturday.
The accident occurred at around 5 pm on Friday in the district of Yongchuan in Chongqing Municipality due to an excessive level of carbon monoxide as said by officials. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
However, rescuers, police officers and firefighters, are trying hard to reach the trapped miners.
