Guwahati News Desk: Two people were arrested by Guwahati Police in connection with cash for job scam in Guwahati City on Saturday.
According to the charges, the duo has taken lakhs of money from the candidates by promising to provide job but later got arrested. The accused have been identified as Kaushik Talukdar and Manash Talukdar.
According to the sources, the investigation reveals that both Kaushik and Manash have provided fake appointment letters of Co-operative City Bank in return for money.
An FIR was filed by the victim who have received a fake appointed letter from them and immediately complained to the Assam DGP and informed them about cash for job scam.
Regarding the job scam in Guwahati, the Police department has also found out two other accused Dipjyoti Saikia and Junai Deka Saika but somehow they have managed to escape from Police.
The arrestees were taken to police custody and police have put down all their effort to arrest the remaining accused of job scam.
