Guwahati News Desk: At least two people are missing after a boat capsized at Sonbeel of Karimganj district on Wednesday.
The incident took place at around 4:30 pm.
Total five persons were present in the boat out of which three are safe.
The missing people were identified as 45-year-old Ujjala Das, wife of Omaresh Das of Kalyanpur village and 10-year-old Khushi Das, daughter of Bishnu Pada Das of Santipur.
The boat was travelling from Kalyanpur to Fakua.
The police officials along with an SDRF team immediately rushed on the spot to take a stock of the incident.
