Guwahati News Desk: A major fire broke out on the morning of Wednesday in a hospital in Dhaka which has left three COVID-19 patients dead.
The health official said that the victims were being treated at the ICU ward of the hospital.
Director of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Nazmul Haque said that 14 patients were in the ICU ward when a ‘high-pressure oxygen device’ exploded at around 8:00 am.
“Three of the ICU patients died while they were shifted to another ICU unit of the hospital following the fire,” he further added.
