Guwahati News Desk: At least eight people were injured including three passengers who received major injuries after the Mumbai-Kolkata Vistara aircraft hit turbulence before landing on Monday.
The incident took place just 15 minutes before landing at Kolkata International Airport. The three injured passengers were immediately admitted to a local hospital in Kolkata.
According to the sources, the turbulence caused injuries to a few passengers who received first aid in the flight and later received medical assistance after landing.
The airline authorities said it’s an unfortunate incident that took place and the officials were closely monitoring the health status of the injured.
