Guwahati News Desk: Three rhino calves which include two female and a male that was rescued in the year 2019 during the flood has been released in the wildlife in Manas Tiger Reserve on Saturday.
The rhino was rescued by the Assam Forest Department (AFD) and the IFAW-WTO vets from the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) at Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR).
The calves have undergone a protocol of rehabilitation for two years before they were transferred to Manas Tiger Reserve.
Earlier in 2019, two female calves were rescued from Hatimura of the Biswanath and Kuthuri area. And the male calves were recused from Solmara during the Kaziranga floods.
