Guwahati News Desk: In a joint operation of Chandmari Police and Noonmati Police successfully apprehended four drugs traffickers from Pub Saraniya in Guwahati on Saturday.
City Police successfully seized 2.79 grams of Heroin contained in 28 plastic vials, 2 air rifles and recovered 7 mobile phones from the possession of the traffickers.
The accused have been identified as Jony Ali (28 years), Altav Uddin Laskar (27 years), Ashok Chetry (25 years) and Rahul Das (26 years). A case has been registered against the four drugs traffickers with Case No. 571/2021 U/S 21(a) NDPA Act.
Earlier on Friday, the Crime Branch Team has operated a raid in a house of 30-year-old Rita Boro of Trinayan Path of Saukuchi in Gorchuk and seized 14 plastic vials containing brown sugar and also seized a cash of Rs 4,000.
The police officials also seized a brand new Yamaha R1 bike worth Rs 2 lakh which was purchased by the lady by selling drugs.
