Guwahati News Desk: A huge amount of drugs have been seized by the Assam Police from Laharighat in Morigaon district on Friday.
Two persons were arrested by Assam Police after a huge amount of narcotics were seized in Tengaguri Kachari. According to the sources, the two drug traffickers were identified as Mazibur Rahman and Amir Hamza.
During the operation, police officials have seized 70 containers filled with narcotics including cash of Rs 97,500.
Assam Police have started a further investigation to go into the depth of the linkage and to break the chain of the drugs peddlers. Currently, the accused is under custody as the interrogation process has been started.
