Guwahati News Desk: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has announced his new upcoming movie ‘Ram Setu’ on the occasion of Diwali.
The actor shared two photos of him in Twitter portraying Lord Ram in the background. Khiladi’s recent is Laxmii which was a south remake of Kanchana, a comedy horror film written and directed by Raghava Lawrence.
Khiladi twitted about the movie this morning, “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt – RAM SETU! Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!”
The actor surprised his fans with the unveil of his movie poster. The movie will be directed by Abhishek Sharma, produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra. Earlier, Abhishek Sharma has directed movies like Tere Bin Laden, Parmanu etc.
