Guwahati News Desk: A shocking incident took place at Jagiroad Railway station when more than 500 passengers ran away skipping the mandatory COVID-19 test on Sunday.
The migrant workers were travelling by Kanyakumari-Dibrugarh Vivek Express and were reportedly travelling from Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal to Assam.
Post incident, Jagiroad Police have started their search operation for the passengers who skip the test.
Meanwhile, 60 passengers were nabbed by police officials on Monday morning.
