Guwahati News Desk: The Bombay High Court on Thursday, finally granted bail to Aryan Khan, who was arrested in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs seizure case.
Along with Aryan Khan, the high court also granted bail to Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha, who were the other two accused in the case.
Moreover, the court will be giving its detailed order on Friday.
Informing about the bail, former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi, who represented Aryan Khan, said, “Bombay High Court has granted bail to Aryan Khan, Arbaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha after hearing the arguments for three days. The detailed order will be given tomorrow. Hopefully, they all will come out of the jail by tomorrow or Saturday.”
According to sources, Aryan Khan’s advocates sought permission from the single bench of Justice NW Sambre to submit cash bail to which the court refused and said surety is to be given.
Meanwhile, Aryan Khan has been lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail since October 8.
Furthermore, the 23-year-old Aryan Khan, has been in custody since October 3, since the drug raids done by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on the Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship in Mumbai.
