Guwahati News Desk: New 5,980 COVID-19 positive cases were reported as active cases reached 54,058 on Saturday.

Today, 1,07,398 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the State and 79 people died.

Kamrup Metro alone reported 902 new positive cases with 9 death.

Whereas, Cachar reported 502 new cases, Nagaon with 422 cases and Kamrup Rural with 389 cases as the positivity rate of the State reduce to 5.57 per cent.
