Guwahati News Desk: Indian Boxer Shiva Thapa who hails from Guwahati meets Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday.
Thapa recently clinched a silver medal in the Asian Boxing Championship 2021 in Dubai.
Chief Minister Sarma congratulated Thapa on his victory and awarded him a gift of Rs 3 lakh cheque as per State Sports Policy.
During the meet, State sports minister Bimal Bora was also present.
