Guwahati News Desk: The Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma chaired the 13th meeting of the Board of Directors of Assam Cancer Care Foundation on virtual mode on Sunday.
Chief Minister Sarma reviewed the progress of ongoing construction of cancer hospital in Assam.
The cancer hospital projects was under construction in collaboration with Tata Trusts as currently the project has been delayed due to ongoing COVID-19 situation in the State.
CM Sarma also revised for completion, fund requirements, manpower recruitment etc and also directed the officials to expedite the project.
During the review meeting, State’s and Health and Family Welfare Minister Keshab Mahanta and senior officers were also present.
