Guwahati News Desk: New 2,167 COVID-19 positive cases were reported as active cases reach 40,026 on Sunday.
Today, 1,00,455 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the State and 36 people died.
Kamrup Metro alone reported 226 new positive cases with 3 death.
Whereas Jorhat reported 236 new cases, Tinsukia with 149 cases and Sonitpur with 165 cases as positivity rate of the state reaches to 2.16 per cent.
5,403 people recovered from COVID-19 as the recovery rate reaches 90.14 per cent.
