Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Tingrai Market in Digboi to inspect the site where the blast took place on Friday.
CM Sarma instructed Assam Police to put a deep investigation and arrest the people involved in the blast.
One died and two were seriously injured in the grenade blast.
According to the sources, two miscreants in bike threw the grenade in front of a hardware shop killing the owner of the shop Puranmal Agarwala while two others sustained serious injuries.
Similar incident took place earlier at Jagun in the Tinsukia district on May 11, where a 12-year-old boy killed in a grenade blast.
