Guwahati News Desk: Assam Congress on Friday expelled MLA Rajdeep Gowala for 6 long years for anti-party activities.
Gowala is a party MLA from Lakhimpur, Barak Valley. KC Venugopal, AICC general secretary said, “The Congress president has approved the proposal of the expulsion of Rajdeep Gowala, MLA, Assam, from the party for a period of six years for indulging in anti- party activities”.
Gowala was reportedly associated with the saffron party, as claimed by Assam health minister Himanta biswa sarma few months ago during the Rajya sabha elections.
