Guwahati News Desk: Ashmita Kalita from Biswanath district has secured first rank in the Board of Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class XII in the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE).
According to the sources, Ashmita holds rank from the Arts stream.
Ashmita who hails from Assam Valley School in Balipara of Sonitpur secured 99.95 per cent.
According to the sources, she scored 100 marks in History, 100 in Psychology, 100 marks in Social Science, 99 marks in English, and 95 marks in Political Science.
The result of ICSE board Class X and Class XII examination was declared on July 25.
Last year, 2.07 lakh students had appeared in the board exam for the Class 10 ICSE examination of which 2.06 lakh passed the examination.
The pass percentage for the 2020 ICSE board is 99.33 per cent.
