Guwahati News Desk: The positivity rate in Assam has reduced to 6.47 per cent as 5,535 new COVID positive cases were reported by conducting 90,251 tests on Sunday.
Earlier, on Monday the positivity rate was 6.99 per cent and on May 16 it was 8.51 per cent.
Kamrup Metro reported 921 cases as the district regularly reported more than one thousand positive cases, death toll reduced to 16.
Meanwhile, Assam crossed 46 thousand marks active cases on Tuesday.
