Guwahati News Desk: The Assam popular ‘Kaji Lemon’ is now available in the markets of London in the United Kingdom. The most favorite ingredient in Assam cuisine is now available in the supermarkets in London.
According to the sources, approximately 6 metric tons of Kaji Nemu were exported to London from Assam between December 2020 to January 2021.
According to the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority earlier said, the consignment of the lemons was apparently cultivated in the Tinsukia district.
The Kaji Lemon is very rich in Vitamin C which helps in human immunity.
Earlier, Burmese grapes which are locally known as Leteku grown in the Darrang district of Assam were exported to Dubai which was exported by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) from Guwahati International Airport in Guwahati.
