Guwahati News Desk: A new digital mammography machine with a facility for tomosynthesis was inaugurated at Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI) in Guwahati on Thursday.
The mammography machine was mandatory needed to start treatment for breast cancer. The prior machine was inaugurated by Chief Guest Director of Bhaba Atomic Research Centre Prof. Ajit Kumar Mohanty. Director of Tata Memorial Centre, Dr Rajendra Badwe have joined the inaugural programme at BBCI.
