Guwahati News Desk: Bhutan government has announced a nationwide lockdown for seven days on Tuesday due to a recent surge in the number of coronavirus cases in the nation.
The nationwide lockdown will get implemented from Wednesday as the lockdown in the entire nation will enable the government to control the spread and increase of positive cases in the country, says the Prime Minister Office on Tuesday.
The inter-district restriction has been controlled by the government and later it was restricted after detection of sporadic cases in flu clinics in the national capital Thimphu and Paro. The cases were also increased in Lhamoizingkha, announced by the Bhutan administration on their official Facebook page on Tuesday.
