Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal laid the foundation stone for construction of new Town Hall cum Cultural Centre in Karimganj district on Wednesday.
The decision to construct a new cultural centre in the district is to provide a major boost to infrastructure and cultural development of the border district, says CM Sonowal.
The cultural centre will hold both national and international events after the completion of the project which will help to organize many popular events in coming days. The cultural centre will also help out the local artist as it will make a good platform for the district as well as the State.
