Guwahati News Desk: Andrea Kevichusa, a well-known model from Nagaland, is poised to make her acting debut in Anubhav Sinha’s film “Anek.” Anek will feature her in the role of Aido, a boxer. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, Kriti Sanon, Aditi Rao Hydari, Huma Qureshi, and Neena Gupta, hailed her Bollywood debut with beautiful social media messages about her. Taapsee even asked that everyone be “kind” to her.
“There couldn’t be a finer option for the lead character in Anek than Andrea,” Anubhav Sinha stated of Andrea. Her northeastern background have given the story a unique twist. Apart from that, Andrea has worked extremely hard for this role. Her rough appearance and great performance have helped her to fully embody the character. Andrea said of working with Ayushmann Khurrana and Anubhav, “I guess I just terrified myself into thinking I wouldn’t be able to do as well as they had wanted me to when it finally dawned on me that I would be working with creatives who are such big names in the industry. But, as a newbie in this industry, Ayushmann and Anubhav Sir created such a welcoming environment for me on set that I felt no additional pressure to over-perform or do something that was above my ability.”
