Sangita Dewri, Food Correspondent: This is an era of acknowledgement of fitness and weight loss among people of any age. Today everybody is binded with such a tight schedule on their life which has led the popularity of fast food or street food, but, on the other hand people are also realising the importance of staying fit and healthy; which is why they often go to gym or bother the internet for diet recipes. Dieting in any way has become a trend nowadays. We can also encounter tons of videos on diet online.
So, today I will be sharing a recipe on weight loss itself for those who are on a diet and for those who are planning to do so. Trust me it’s super easy and super healthy.
The first recipe is OATS BESAN CHILLA.
- ½ cup oats
- 3 tsp besan four/chickpea flour
- ½ onion
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 green chilli
- ¼ inch ginger
- ½ tsp jeera
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp black pepper powder
- Salt as needed
- ½ cup water
- ½ tsp desi ghee for every chilla
Grind the oats to fine powder. Then add this to a bowl, to this add the besan and all the dry ingredients along with the vegetables. After that add the water and mix it well. The consistency of the batter should neither be too thick nor too thin. Now, heat the tawa and brush it with ghee then pour one ladder full of the chilla batter into it and spread it into a circle. Put the flame on low heat and cover it. Cook the chilla for about a minute, now; flip it over to the other side. When the sides are brown you will know it’s done. Serve it on a plate with some ketchup.
The next recipe which I will be sharing is a smoothie which goes very well with the chilla.
PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE
- 1 Banana
- 1 glass of water
- 1tsp peanut butter
- 1tsp flax seeds
- 1tsp chia seeds
- 1tsp cinnamon powder
Blend all the ingredients in the mixer really well and pour this creamy peanut butter smoothie into a glass. The peanut butter smoothie is ready.
So, these are the two super recipes for breakfast which are very easy to prepare and also keeps you full until lunch.
